keeping up with the big girl bloggers
As an emerging blogger (sounds better than beginner) I check several of the big girl blogs everyday. The “big girls” to which I refer include Heather Armstrong’s site, Ree Drummond’s daily work of art and, of course, Jen Lancaster’s laughs.
Besides the humor and entertainment, they’ve raised the bar on the photography. One must have interesting photographs that [...]
Your mother always told you to wear sunscreen

Growing Older Gracefully
To our pleasant surprise, spending the weekend with an 85 year-old man and a 79 year-old woman was a hoot! They are world travelers, their minds are sharp and they like to go and do. We toured the Beringer Vineyard because they make Uncle John’s favorite wine, ate some of the most incredible gourmet meals (all organic food) and of course, tasted some of the best wine in the world.
